Sound dept has a range of PA systems that can be deployed, indoors and out, for various music events. We take time and care to make sure they are suitable for whichever event we supply.
One such example saw us approached by the clients of a trusted partner to provide an outdoor PA system that would cover 1500 people, in a given space, for an outdoor cinema presentation that they were putting on, in a city park.
The brief included overcoming two main issues that had arisen in the previous year. One being that the genrators that the food vendors were using were very loud (and we could only appreciate that fully once we had experienced it ourselves) and the other being that every effort ought to be made to minimise the impact on the local residents.
The solutions were pitched by providing software predictions of what our system design would achieve within the space and what we could expect to happen outside the boundaries.
For this we would scale up our existing stock to deploy two main towers of d&b audiotechnik groundstacked line arrays, on staging platforms, with a further identical pair of array towers, delayed, at 50 metres down the park. The arrangement of the subs gave both the neccesary impact to the viewing public, whilst dropping off considerably outside the physical limits of the site.
Overall we were very pleased with the results and were promptly booked again for the following year.
